Active odd-mode-metachannel for single-conductor systems

چکیده
Although tremendous efforts have been devoted to investigating planar single-conductor circuits, it remains challenging provide tight confinement of electromagnetic field and compatibility with active semi-conductor components such as amplifier, harmonic generator mixers. Single-conductor spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) structure, which is one the most promising transmission media due outstanding confinement, still suffers from difficulty in integrating components. In this paper, a new kind odd-mode-metachannel (OMM) that can support odd-mode SSPPs proposed perform fundamental channel systems. By introducing zigzag decoration, OMM strengthen broaden bandwidth simultaneously. More importantly, amplifier chip integration achieved by utilizing intrinsic potential difference on OMM, breaks major obstacle implementing As an instance, successfully integrated realize both loss compensation signal amplification. Meanwhile, merits including crosstalk suppression, low radar cross section (RCS), flexibility are comprehensively demonstrated. Hence, its capability integrate may avenue future conformal systems smart skins.
